Farewell to Bishop Willie Gene Robinson, patriarch of the Robinson family, a faithful steward in the household of God.
You have done well, sir.
You stand before us as a noble example of righteous steadfastness; “steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord”, one who held fast to holy convictions and faithfully kept the charge entrusted to you. You fought the good fight, you finished your course, and you kept the faith.
I grew up watching you plow and labor in the field of the Lord, building and establishing the Kingdom with patience, vision, and apostolic resolve. Through your life and ministry, you showed us that deliverance is possible, that chains can be broken, and that whom the Son makes free is free indeed. By the grace and wisdom of God, you built Glorious Temple Deliverance Center into a shining city set upon a hill, a radiant beacon of hope, healing, and transformation for generations yet unborn.
You were a father to many and a counselor to multitudes, a shepherd who knew the voice of the Chief Shepherd. You labored in prayer, watching for souls as one who must give an account. God entrusted you with a distinct sound, a prophetic sound that pierced the heart, convicted the soul, and ushered the bound into liberty.
You were a General in the army of the Lord, a watchman on the wall, a true Prophet, and a faithful servant of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. You fed the flock, strengthened the weak, restored the fallen, and proclaimed the whole counsel of God without compromise.
Though our hearts grieve and mourn at your earthly transition, our spirits rejoice in your eternal triumph. For precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints. You have overcome by faith, and now you have received the crown of righteousness, laid up for all who love His appearing. You have entered into the joy of your Lord, where there is no more labor, no more suffering, and no more pain.

I will never forget the godly wisdom of Bishop Willie Robinson. I, a product of E.N.Y., have been blessed to have been in fellowship with him. From time to time, we would talk on the phone, and he always said, "Whenever you come back to Brooklyn, I want you to preach for me." Now a Texan, one memory of mine is when my brother passed away in 2017, one month after being appointed to my church. My wife and I went to the Glorious Temple to visit the Bishop. While in his office, he gave us bookmarks from Israel, and he said, “Well, you're a pastor now, welcome to the tribulation club.” Praise God for the ministry and life of Bishop Willie Robinson.

(Very Powerful and Anointed)..Bishop Robinson was a Faithfull Assistant to The Late Bishop James Gaylord. Bishop Robinson was a man of Faith,Valor and of Wise Counsel..Most of all Bishop Robinson was Saved,Sanctified and Filled with the Precious HolyGhost…He wasn’t just another pastor or Bishop in 1st Jurisdiction of Eastern NY he was also my neighbor for these past almost 50years…Again God Bless the family and the church family of Bishop Willie G Robinson…
